The short version

I'm an engineer who ended up on the web. Mechatronics taught me to think in circuits: every part has an input, an output and a way to fail. Websites work the same way.

A contact form is only the start of a signal. It has to pass through PHP, a database, a server and, more and more often, a CRM before anyone in sales sees a lead. That is the part I like: the joins.

Since 2019 I have worked at ParaGuru LLC, a media buying agency, first as Software Development Manager and now as Business Intelligence Engineer. The job covers custom PHP and WordPress builds, hosting and security, and the integrations that move data between websites, CRMs and booking systems.

When something breaks in production, I go to the logs, the database and the server before I touch the code. Guessing is cheaper only until the second outage.

How I work

  • Evidence before edits

Logs, database state and a reproducible test come first. Then one controlled change, then proof it worked.

  • One source of truth

Before connecting two systems, decide which one owns the data. Most sync bugs are really ownership bugs.

  • Simple beats clever

Native WordPress and plain PHP before another framework or plugin. Less to break, less to update.

  • Rollback is a feature

Small releases and a way back. "It worked on my test" is not the same as production-ready.

  • Hand over properly

Handovers come with recorded video guides for the admin, so the team can run the site without calling me.

04

Teaching

I have been teaching programming for as long as I have been writing it professionally.

My Udemy courses have reached more than 33,000 learners. The YouTube channel holds 600+ videos and 13 full courses, mostly in Arabic: a 91-lesson PHP diploma, Unity3D game development, web design, JavaScript, Visual Basic and more.

05

Beyond the browser

The engineering degree was not a detour.

I have built microcontroller robots and a colour-mixing machine, and worked with RFID, Unity3D games and desktop software in C# and VB.NET. It is why the logo is a chip: I still see a website as a circuit board, and I still check the power rail first.
