What I build

  • Custom plugins

One job per plugin: publishers, importers, audit tools and integrations, using native hooks, custom post types and custom tables.

  • WooCommerce flows

Booking windows, deposits and remaining balances, cancellation deadlines and Stripe checkouts.

  • Admin tools

Dashboards and settings screens that let editors manage the site safely, with validation before anything goes live.

  • Rescue and performance

Slow or failing sites traced to the real cause through logs, server load and the database, then fixed.

  • Integrations

WordPress connected to Zoho CRM, HubSpot, Stripe and external APIs, via REST, AJAX and cron.

How I work on WordPress

  1. Native first
    Plain WordPress before another plugin

If core hooks and a small custom plugin can do it, that beats three add-ons that each need updates and licences.

  2. Evidence
    Logs before guesses

PHP errors, server logs, slow queries and the cron list come before any change. One controlled change at a time.

  3. Safety
    Versioned releases and rollback

Small patches with a way back, even when the client has no staging site.

  4. Validation
Check content before it goes live

Pre-flight checks in the admin catch missing data before a visitor ever sees a broken page.

  5. Handover
    Video guides for your team

Every handover includes recorded admin guides, so the site doesn't depend on me.

    Event hotel booking platform

HubSpot holds events, hotels, pricing and bookings. A custom WordPress publisher plugin turns that data into event pages and hotel offers, with readiness checks before anything is published. A WooCommerce layer handles hotel selection, deposits, remaining balances, cancellation deadlines and Stripe payments, and writes orders back to HubSpot.

  • Performance · Root cause

A store eating its own server

A WooCommerce site kept pinning the CPU. The logs showed one payment plugin firing more than 11,000 requests at its own site. Removing it brought the CPU back to idle. No server upgrade needed.

  • In development · WooCommerce tooling

    Catalogue audit plugin

An admin tool for a store of about 4,000 products that finds duplicates, missing colour data, products that should be variable, and weak images, and learns from the reviewer's decisions.

Quick answers

Do you use page builders like Elementor?

I work with Elementor, WPBakery and WoodMart sites when they are already in place. For new custom features I prefer a small plugin in plain PHP, which is faster and easier to maintain.

Can you fix a slow or broken WordPress site?

Yes. I start with logs, server load, the database and the cron list, find the actual cause, and fix that rather than adding more server resources.

Will I be able to edit the site myself?

Yes. Content stays in the normal WordPress admin, custom features get their own settings screens, and you get recorded video guides at handover.

Do you also host and maintain the site?

I manage VPS and Plesk hosting, SSL, backups, cron and security hardening. We can agree what fits your setup.
